Cindy Robertson Therapy Walnut Creek California.jpeg

Cindy Robertson, MA, AMFT

My background is in depth psychology, which means that in addition to helping clients contain symptoms, I help them to explore what is behind those symptoms. As uncomfortable as some emotional experiences can be, what we call “symptoms” often contain valuable information about what we want and need and the state of our-selves.

My approach is non-pathologizing and client-centered, with an emphasis on relationship building and Jungian psychology. Although therapy is a significant investment of time and money, it can offer relief from long-standing patterns of self-sabotage and lead to a more authentic life in relationship to ourselves and others.

I invite you to call for a free 15-minute consultation, (925) 261-7519 or email me at therapy@cindyrobertson.sprucecare.com.

Good Faith Estimate Notice (No Surprises Act H.R.133)

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
